Behind the door

Our Story

An old carved door, a slow evening, and a café that feels like Jaipur.

The heritage carved door at KIOR

The name

KIOR means the door you walk through.

Tucked into a quiet corner of Jagatpura, KIOR takes its name and soul from an old, hand-carved Rajasthani door — the kind that has watched a hundred evenings come and go. Step through it and the city slows down.

Warm lights, an open-air courtyard, a bakery counter that smells of morning, and a menu that runs from your first coffee to your midnight mojito. This is where “pata hai aaj kya hua…” turns into nights you wish would never end.

The vibe

Made for lingering.

Come for a laptop-and-latte afternoon or a table full of friends at midnight. The courtyard is easy, the crowd is young, and the kitchen is all vegetarian — so everyone at the table eats happy.
